Community Engagement

Chartwell is a unique school in the way it puts emphasis on community awareness and out reaching to those less privileged.

The students explore the society in which they live, its history and working reality. Chartwell students also look beyond their own school community eg though cooperating with Anton Skola, a school for children with special needs. Common sports and other activities are often arranged between the two schools.

During the annual school events, such as The Summer Fair, the students raise money for Serbian children in need, refugees and Roma children. In the past the money donated has paid for school books, toys and Teaching materials, allowing those less well off to benefit from the effort of the students at Chartwell.
