Key Stage 1 (KS1) represents the first two years of the primary phase (years 1 and 2). We provide a broad and balanced KS1 curriculum, which enables us to engage and academically challenge all our pupils. Our Key Stage 2 (KS2) teaching (years 3 to 6) is organised along traditional primary school lines, but is enhanced by teaching in an international environment.

We strive to generate a warm, caring atmosphere in which all children can flourish and achieve their full potential.  Differences between children are recognised and celebrated; all members of the school community encourage children to work and play alongside each other happily and harmoniously.  We provide exciting, interesting learning experiences which build upon individual children's strengths and interests.  We also ensure that all children are given opportunities to develop their independence.  Our ultimate aim is to give all of our children the confidence and enthusiasm to become life-long learners.

There are three ‘core’ subjects in the British National Curriculum – English, Mathematics and Science. Combined science is added at Key Stage 3 at the end of the Primary cycle. In addition, children are taught History, Geography, Technology, Art, Music, ICT and Physical Education. Personal Development is considered a vital component of our students' education. Self-awareness and empathy with others as well as a healthy self-concept assist the lerning process. Lessons are timetabled but this is an over-arching subject that is constantly addressed. French is introduced in Year 3 and taught throughout the school.
