Chartwell International SchoolBelgrade
Staff, principal and parents
The atmosphere within a classroom is very much dependent on the teacher. The quality of a good teacher is in his/her personality and character as much as their qualifications and experience. Chartwell teachers come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences but what they all have in common is a love of teaching, an empathy with their students and a commitment to their education. All are well qualified for the role that they play. They teach teamwork by the power of example: teaching and planning are carried out as team-based collaborative exercises.
The school’s principal is Mr. O’Grady. He is an experienced headmaster with knowledge of both the British and the International Baccalaureate (IB) systems. He also is an accomplished sports coach.
Parent – Teacher Relations Good, active relations between parents and teaching staff are essential to realise the child’s full potential. Chartwell maintains sensitive, positive relationships with both students and parents so that the home and school environments are in harmony.
